The Candidate that Obama does NOT want to Face is Romney
The sooner we make Mitt Romney the Republican nominee for President and move on with a head to head campaign against President Obama, the better we will all be. Obama is petrified of Romney because he knows the campaign will be a direct attack on his failed socialist agenda by a successful capitalist.
“I will not apologize for having been successful,” said Romney in the Florida Presidential debate on NBC. Romney was responding to criticism that he is rich. He said he is not ashamed for the fact that he earned his wealth by building companies from scratch, which created many middle-income jobs.
“These are not just high-end financial jobs. We helped start Staples for instance. It employs 90,000 people. These are middle-income people. There are entry level jobs too,” explained Romney.
He added that he also helped create or build Bright Horizons Children’s Centers, Sports Authority, and Steel Dynamics all of which became successful, have continued to grow, and employ thousands.
“The nature of America is individuals pursuing their dreams don’t make everyone else poorer, they help make us all better off. And so I’m not going to apologize for success or apologize for free enterprise. I believe free enterprise is one of the things that we have to re-invigorate in this country if we want to get people working again,” Romney stated.
Romney not only has what it takes to defeat Obama, he has what it will take to turn our nation around and bring prosperity back. Not just for us, but for our children and the generations yet to come.
Romney’s success story is just exactly what America is all about. He’s a great businessman. I can’t wait for a successful capitalist like Mitt Romney to go up against the failed Obama left-wing socialist agenda head on. It is time for America to decide between the two – socialism or capitalism.
Mitt Romney wants government to get out of the way to let all American’s be their very best. His tax returns show that he paid only 14 percent of his income in taxes. Wouldn’t it be great for all Americans to have the same opportunity to earn income and be taxed at 35 percent on their earned income, and then be taxed again at a lower rate on their capital gains, just like Romney? If we all had that same opportunity our nation would be much better off.
“I pay all the taxes that are legally required, and not a dollar more,” he said of his tax returns that were just made public. “I don’t think you want someone as the candidate for President who pays more taxes than he owes,” he added.
He said he is proud of the fact that he pays a lot of taxes. His returns show that he pays about $6 million a year in taxes and donates more than that, about $7 million to his church and to charities.
Mitt Romney did not point out that when he first earned the money it was taxed at a higher rate, approximately 35 percent. Then when he invested that money it was taxed again as he received investment income from it.
He paid all the taxes he was legally required to pay. He paid a higher rate when he first earned the money, and a lower rate when he then invested the money he already paid taxes on. Our tax system is in need of significant reform, but Romney did nothing wrong. He paid more than his fair share.
Mitt Romney wants all of us in this country to have the same opportunity he has had to become successful. Ultimately it is up to each of us to succeed or fail, but we cannot even have the chance to try if our country continues to impose regulations on businesses that make it impossible to succeed.
We need Mitt Romney because he will really bring about the reforms that are needed. The other candidates have been elected Washington politicians and will just keep the current system in effect without any real change.
Which candidate will bring about the most positive change and reform over the next four to eight years? Which candidate will make this country a better place to live for our children and their children?
Mitt Romney is the future America needs.
